![]() I have been going here since 3rd grade, and I am so glad I made the switch from being at public school from K-2nd grade to PCDS. Junior: I love Phoenix Country Day School. He helps us to unlock our potential with out instruments. Although small, the community of students that you make music with is close. In spite of that, I have had so many amazing experiences taking band and orchestra throughout my years at Basis Tucson North. There are so many math and science courses available to take, but all of the fine arts programs are very small in comparison. The only complaint I have about my school is its focus on STEM. The French teachers are amazing and have taught me a lot. Because of that, I feel confident in my ability to converse with native speakers on a variety of topics. I also love their foreign language curriculum. I've really grown academically because of my school. ![]() You have plenty of opportunities to take honors and AP classes that will teach and challenge and prepare you for college. Senior: I have really enjoyed the advanced classes offered at Basis Tucson North. ![]() I feel lucky to be able to have my son receive such an amazing WORLD CLASS EDUCATION!. If more schools followed their path, the world would be a much more intelligent and caring place. BASIS Scottsdale is rewriting what education should be. Having teachers, that are accomplished as educators and having worked in specialized fields outside of the classroom, brings a wealth of knowledge for the students. They have taken the best learning techniques from Europe, Asia, Canada, and the United States and brought their own techniques to life with a low teacher to student ratio. They also offer many sports, arts, music programs. The numerous clubs, from Amnesty International, Model UN, Medical Leader Club, Public Speaking Club, and the 50+ clubs for students to join, are a huge asset for building future leaders through learning first hand. I've gained memorable experiences that I will never forget and learned hands on how to become the musician I have always strived to become.Parent: The faculty, staff, volunteers, boosters, teachers, and students all are there to improve the world. Furthermore, Canyon View has provided me with the experience needed to lead me in the right direction for my future. Over the past 4 years, I've been able to record professionally in a studio, play live shows, intern for a record label and make connections with muscians. From here, I ended up joining bands outside of school, expanding my music to new levels. I was able to work with other musicians and play competitions across the district. I joined marching band to pursue my passion of drumming. However, I decided I must become more involved, in order to get the highschool experience I've always wanted. I began attending the school fall of 2018 and struggled to be apart of the community, due to the fact of moving and starting fresh. Senior: Canyon View Highschool opened in 2018 and I recieved the oppurtunity to be apart of the first graduating class. But, the school is always looking to make improvements based on the student's wants so, I am sure this problem will be met soon enough!. I try to understand that it is a small school so, this is a challenge. While I do wish the school offered more classes and had more clubs. The teachers at Imagine Prep make a great effort to get to know you, they are always checking in on their students and making sure our mental health is under control! They are constantly offering their assistance. ![]() Compared to other schools, where you can tell the staff doesn't care very much about this. It gives teachers the opportunity to really grow a relationship with their students. The school is definitely on the smaller side, but I personally like this. I really love the Prep, I have moved around from school to school never really able to find somewhere I felt comfortable at. Sophomore: I have been at Imagine Prep for 3 years and plan to continue my studies until I graduate in 2023.
